New bus schedules and new drivers

After the issues with Route 90 between October and March, my route was revamped with a new schedule for my travel window beginning April 11.

When my bus arrived this morning, it was awesome to be greeted by one my favourite operators. We arrived at the station on time, and those of us who like to run for the 7:15 from Oshawa had time to hoof it, while others waited for the 7:28. These are the folks who like to grab a coffee, etc.

Everybody wins!

  1. Yay! Some good news on a Monday. Always welcome.

As an FYI: I overheard my bus driver this morning talking about how the DRT is massively re-vamping some routes. Their homepage does mention it, but no other information as of yet.

  2. I hope it's being revamped in a good way. As it stands, there is a long delay between local transit transfers with GO buses in some areas. Courtice being one of them.

It would be nice to catch the local bus and take it from Bloor to Highway 2 instead of walking, especially in pouring rain and in really hot weather.

  3. I agree. I did look to see if my routes (I take a different one in the morning than at night) are part of the switch up and they weren't. I was a little upset because my "Go Home" bus is constantly late or missing in action some days. I was hoping they were going to add in another run.

  4. Functionality and synergy
    ...what profound concepts.

Everybody should try them once-in-a-while and see what happens.
