UPX takes off a little later than initial target date but forecasts high ridership

Metrolinx is expected to announce a launch date for the Union Pearson Express (UPX) later this month.

It will be sometime before the Pan Am Games in July. But as recently as June 2013, the province had been targeting an earlier opening of Sunday, April 5.

    "Expected" is not correct. "Assumed for forecasting purposes" would be correct. That applies to things like the opening date, and proportion of business travellers.
