Hey, we've all been there. I have. I don't know if I've ever taken my shoes off on the GO train (I'm going with no) but what beats the smell of leather-accented snakeskin in the morning? Nothing!
Most importantly, why doesn't Scholl's make flats for men? For situations like this?
Or, do what my husband does when we go to weddings. Bring a pair of Hugh Heffner approved slippers with you. In Black. No one notices once the dancing starts. I doubt anyone would notice on the train.

Well, that is why, in situations like this, I carry flip-flops in my backpack... sometimes you just can't.go.on.
So, yes. I have taken my shoes off... only to put something else on. And then said shoes are safely stowed away in the backpack.
And complete side-question: am I the only person on the planet who wears shoes around the house for a while to break them in?
I bought a pair of Franco Sarto heels and put baggies of water in them and then put them in the freezer for a week. It was like MAGIC. The shoes were nice and comfy when I put them on. Nary a blister.
Nice! Did it ruin the shoe at all? I have a pair of nude patent pumps I need to break in for a wedding in October and after the hunt to find them would hate to ruin them with water/freezer.
I filled sandwich baggies with half of water and shoved them down near the toes and then another baggie on top. The shoes were fine.
There are hacks online how to do this. Check them first.
Will do! Thanks.
