Not sure how to get from your house to somewhere else in the GTHA by transit?
Triplinx helps you figure out what agency to take, and what route to travel, complete with schedules and route numbers.
For example, let's say you moved to Courtice (Hey. don't knock it) and needed to get to Union Station from Courtice's bustling downtown. It works like Google Maps. You enter a start and end address, and voila!

Looks pretty decent. Works for GTA only. Shows whether bikes are permitted which I like. I wonder if it will factor in real-time information related to delays
^ That would be very beneficial.
According to a Facebook post just made by GO Transit: "Triplinx uses up-to-date service information from 11 regional transit providers so you can travel with ease."
As long as it works well consistently... this is awesome!
I just found out that if I were to take Durham Transit and TTC to work, it would take 3 hours and 7 minutes at rush hour (GO is 1 hr 28 minutes)
After rush hours, it would take me over 4 hours. So no thanks.
I tried it, using my office and home addresses (to and from, respectively). The planner didn't recognize my home address at all. I assumed it didn't extend out to Courtice, but since you got info, I'll have to try again....
Hi Nora
I typed in my exact home address (which is not Courtice Road, that's address for nearest bus stop I used to take before I moved)
Type in street # and name and then pick Clarington as it comes up in the prepopulated list.
Thanks CJ! I also discovered that, ironically, Triplinx can do what DRT could not - provide specific instructions re: using DRT to get from Point A to Point B within Clarington/Durham (including where to board, disembark, timing, and every stop in between) - sweet!
