Saw this in the paper this morning. Hope his buddies are as enthused about trains as the birthday boy.
I will give full credit where it's due - I was VERY impressed with the way that this young boy's birthday wish was handled.
Very classy - and so nice to see some "above and beyond" customer service here.
Train was pretty fully... because many people were getting a free sample ride.
And when the party's over?
Nice gig if you can afford it... Yay white kids and their helicopter parents! (Too harsh...?)

As a white parent, I agree with that statement. Ahh ... privilege.
at least its getting some ridership.... not the kind they want but....
I don't think "afford" was much of an issue for the free launch event...
