They definitely need CSA"s to monitor and enforce train lines. GO put these rules in place and expect by just announcing them over the P.A. system that people will abide by them.
If "passengers have to enforce the rules" themselves, and one DOES take a matter into their own hands, I'm willing to bet that those-in-charge would still be quick to charge said passenger with criminal offense if he/she gets too "overzealous" in their efforts.

Please, please tell me that the person who pushed the yellow strip was fined, as all the signs say they will be if they misuse the emergency sttip!
Enforcement of by-laws and rules is where GO Transit fails. It's practically non-existent. Unless you're caught without paying your fare.
I would hope they'd get a fine, but I doubt it.

If someone is being aggressive, I think it is an emergency. I hate the requirement that passengers are expected to enforce the rules.
