While you were roasting this weekend ...

Apparently on Saturday, a tourist on-board an LSW GO train nearly gave birth on the train. I've been given conflicting reports. I'll see what comes out in the comments and what comes back in email. But that's the story on the rails this morning.

When I met with Transit Safety over a year ago to chat about GO Transit security and seeking understanding about what they do, I had asked Bill Grodzinski, the Director of Safety and Security, if any of his officers had ever delivered a baby. He couldn't recall any incidents of a live birth.

This is a good thing because Lord knows you'd get that one set of parents who'd be all like, "Well, he was delivered around Guildwood, so we decided we'd call him "Guildwood" so he'd be reminded of his legacy."

Oh, and here's a picture of my husband riding a blow-up dolphin in our pool on Sunday. Because heeeeeeeeeat.

Passed you on Nash Road Sunday morning while driving to church. You looked hot. And I mean H-O-T. I don't know how you can bike in this weather but good for you!

I did 26 km!!!

There were a lot of crazy cyclists out in the heat. I came home and immediately jumped in the pool with my gear on. Didn't change. Didn't care.

Ya right. 26 k... more like 26 meter. Fat people can't ride bikes let alone ride more than half a marathon..... so many lies. First you walked and now you cycle. Make up your mind.

^ So it was you who passed me on Holt Road, just south of the 401 overpass, who shouted out the passenger side window, "Pedal faster, fatty"!?

Keep on hatin'.

So apparently "Anonymous" doesn't follow you're blog or you on Twitter.

Walking or Biking? Does there have to be a choice? Nope. CJ can do whatever she wants for excercise. She can walk one day and cycle the next or...horror of horrors, mix it up a bit and do a little of both the same day. With the pool she could even become a Oshawa tri-athlete of walking, cycling and swimming!

I don't know if I could handle people just being mean for the sake of being mean. That's just hella wrong.

It's not even funny. It's just mean.

Meh. I'm fabulous.

How a person looks isn't a reflection of health.

Womens' Running just put its first "plus size" model on its cover, a model who has been running for 10 years and probably could run circles around me. I'm 6 feet and weigh 181 pounds. Last time I rode a bike was 10 years ago and it certainly wasn't for 26 km.

I don't care how much CJ weighs or what she looks like. The fact that she's active tells me she cares a great deal about herself. We could all try to do the same.

Good job on your 26km, CJ.

I had planned on being out on Sunday myself, riding back from Belleville after visiting a very pregnant friend and her 4 year old son. Nothing crazy about cycling in intense heat, but 225km in the sun didn't seem like the best idea with a humidex around 40C.

Maybe next time I'm out visiting in Belleville, I'll see you riding as I pass through Courtice on my way home.

When I started out at 10 it wasn't so bad. Nice breeze. I was home before it got gross.
