My commute is too long. This would make things more interesting @GOtransit! Cc @ThisCrazyTrain pic.twitter.com/o9RUSH7y2G

Cue the TVO era Dr. Who theme song - you know, the one that came on after Fables of The Green Forest? Which came on after Today's Special?

I think Poka-Dot Door preceeded the Fables of the Green Forest.

I believe the line up was 6pm Polka Dot Door. 630pm Today's Special. 7pm Fables of the Green Forest and Dr. Who at 730pm
Delete8 pm was bed time!
I thought Dr. Who was on at 6:30pm b/c dinner was always at 7pm, and I hated when it was early. Anyway fond memories
ReplyDeleteI'm referring to the 1985/86/87 schedule.
ReplyDeleteIt is highly plausible I'm off on this... man, to have a TV Guide handy from May 1985
I thought Fables of the Green Forest followed Polka Dot Door on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Today's Special (my fave) followed Polka Dot Door on Tuesdays and Thursday's. Sometimes there was that Simon show..."well, you know my name is Simon....and the things I draw come true...oh the pictures take me, take me over, climb the ladder with you"
ReplyDeleteI was going to sign this message as "Nancy, not the crazy one, but having re-read my message, now I'm not so sure....!
Holy crap. That's a good memory you have!
