Who cares who is "unaffected". Why is this driver entitled to what he or she wants?
Diagonal lines means "do not park here". Why is this guy/girl special? I don't give a crap about his/her car or his door dings... park normal. Or take the bus.
Nothing else to do? I am sure you are the ones that call bylaw on all the neighbours on your street because its your job to make sure the world follows orders.
I understand that some people take it too far but come on, this is not that bad. Get a life people.
I didn't take the photo but I will tell you that parking donkeys bother a lot of people and I get dozens of photos and rarely publish them because the whole site would be nothing but parking donkeys but this one was special... I can tell.
I don't drive to the GO Station. I could care less what people do on their street or neighbourhood. Doesn't affect me. I don't live there. But if it's something that bothers a fellow commuter, I'm all over it. So I appreciate that you feel I need a life. Guess what, I have one. And it's so much better without you in it.
Re: culprit. That could be true but highly doubtful.
I would say it's one thing to hug the line or even be inches over into the "diagonal" area so as to save potential door dents, etc, but this is ridiculous.
Occasionally at Port Credit GO I will see a red motorcycle parked on the lines. This isn't a buffer area to access windows as there are none but I think it's an area where ramps from accessible vehicles can be lowered.

Put a half-dozen shopping carts in the driving lane and that is every parking lot in Brampton.
yea but is it hurting anyone, or blocking anyone? is it taking up more than 1 parking space?
How about parking *IN THE SPACE*???

THE END.
The world is not your oyster. Don't be a donkey.
The buffer zone is there for space to get to the windows for maintenance.
Plus, what CJ said.
Can I get an amen?!
Hey this guy obviously doesn't give a f***. I'm full of respect for that ;)
Maybe when this person parked the person beside them was over the line, and it was this or nothing. Who knows who the real culprit is?

Maybe they painted the lines after he or she parked there?

I was not directing my comment at you but at the person who took they picture. You might be a little sensitive today.
My appologies if I offended you, I was stating my opinion like many other people.
TESTIFY CJ! TESTIFY!
Er.....
AMEN!
Thanks for the sorry.
I'm not sorry for being sensitive, though.
Tow or ticketed? Not even... why not park however the hell you wanna. Not like GO'll do anything about it

Just put some water bottles under the tires and once the driver drives away.......... POW!
Attempt the "water bottle" trick---THAT'S the moment when transit security will decide to "check things out".
