  3. Wow I didn't realize you actually lived in Australia! But seriously I'm sure any insurance company would support your claim once they saw the reason for the fire! That needs to join the gazillions in spider heaven.

  4. It had better do its duty and start devouring some flies and gnats.

  5. omg kill it with fire! Have you seen the video where the person swats a spider with a broom and ends up it was preggo and hundreds of teeny spiders come running out? Youtube it. Motivation to get rid of this one before it releases more!

  6. I want to thank everyone - especially Kelly - for tonight's nightmares.

I was doing so well at NOT looking at it. Shudder.

  7. I would get a broom and a bucket. Catch the spider on the broom and shake (bang the sides) into the bucket. It won't be able to climb out. Then re-locate it to the very back of the yard. Do this before it has a dramatic weight loss. Problem solved and less flies and mosquitos next year.

I can't stand spiders but I also don't feel right killing them - outside. In the house, all bets are off. They're just doing what spiders do. I relocated 8 huge ones a couple of weeks ago and they never came back.
