- you are a 10 years+ GO Transit passenger (over 20 years would be ideal, but let's not get too picky)*
- you are not camera shy
- you are part of a GO gang (and you've held parties on the train - nice to have, but not a requirement)
- you commute for more than an hour and half one way by train

Who wants to be part of a special television series about commuting on GO Transit?

Does anyone commute for 1.5 hrs each way? If so, I feel bad for them.
ReplyDeleteI take the 5:49 train from Kitchener. I get into Union Station just before 8 am... man, some of you are just ignorant.
ReplyDeleteSure, but the Kitchener train has only been running for a few years so it would violate the first criterion. I don't think there are any lines that have been running for 10+ years that take more than 1.5 hours each way.
ReplyDeleteYOU DON'T HAVE TO MATCH EVERY SINGLE BULLET POINT DUDES.
ReplyDeleteMight be time to re-calibrate what you get upset about, if you feel that someone not knowing how long the length of the Kitchener line is ignorant.
ReplyDeleteNo-one has a 1.5 hour train ride... :D
ReplyDeleteI can think of a few times where it's taken more than an hour and half for Oshawa trains to get to Oshawa. We've ALL had 1.5 hours or longer train rides!!!
ReplyDeleteCJ, if you just need to meet one of the criteria (and not necessarily all of them), then anyone who "[is] not camera shy" would qualify, whether they take the train or not. Surely this is not the intent...
ReplyDeleteThe title of the post reads:

"commuting on GO Transit"
Pretty specific.
Thanks.
I match ALL of the requirements LOL.
ReplyDeleteCommuting (to Whitby, then Oshawa) since 1999 (16 years)
Definitely not shy in any way, shape or form.
Have a very well-known "crew" (with several peripheral members too!)
I do the same commute that you do, Cindy, so I don't even need to speak to the joy of 1.5 - 2 hours (depending on whether express or not) each way....
You know where to find me!
Done!
ReplyDelete(thanks)
If I commute an hour and a half on the GO Friday nights and Monday mornings and it is an hour and a half or more do I qualify?
ReplyDelete^ Regular weekend travel puts a good spin on the demographics so I say yes.
ReplyDeleteTwenty-three years of commuting by GO Train. Yup, I gots it!
ReplyDeleteI'm returning to the commute....and although it hasn't been 10 years Aldershot to Union plus travel on either side is a 1.5hour each way so count me in, if you need another warm body.
ReplyDeleteAre you remaking Train 48?
ReplyDeleteNo. It's for a news feature :)
