So apparently, the CSA, on yesterday's train that hit the poor fellow, had to make an announcement to stop taking pictures and video of the accident site. My friend who was on that train told me this morning.
What the hell?!?!?! Has society become that crass and disgusting? If so, stop the planet, I want to get off.
I could only find one pic on Twitter. At least people heeded the advice.

Why would someone favourite this?
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that the CSA, Andrew, made the announcement (he was excellent, by the way). Specifically, he asked people to stop crowding around the doors and to not take pictures or videos. Fortunately I was far away from the action at the far west end of the train
ReplyDeleteHow incredibly sad that a group of ostensible professional adults found the untimely death of this poor guy such a source of entertainment. I wonder if any of them stopped to say a mental prayer for him - or his now bereaved family, instead of just gawking like idiots.
ReplyDeleteIt is astounding that it is the first reaction of people to whip out their cameras and tape it. Whether it be an accident, a fight, crime/vandalism in progress. What the hell is wrong with people?
