Why do these people not sit on the aisle? It's a no-brainer. No one is going to steal your damn suitcase

  1. I've only been on GO trains a few times, sometimes with bags, and have wondered where they are supposed to go. There are no overhead bins! I could understand the obsession with bag misplacement if there were some obvious place to put bags. But... there isn't. Help me out here...

  2. GO coaches were built as commuter coaches absent of luggage etc because the expectation is you're going to work. Outside of that, there are bench seats and side seats, aisle seats and under seats for bags. Luggage doesn't belong on a seat unless you paid a second fare for it during rush hour. I've traveled with suitcases and I've sat on aisle seats during rush hour. Off rush hour it's still not cool to fill an entire quad with your stuff but as long as paying passengers can find a seat, be my guest

  3. I came in late this morning: the reason? my travelling companion had a suitcase.

You want to know what she did? She sat at the aisle and kept it beside her. When people were passing, she made certain it was as "tucked in" as possible.

But then again, we did take a later rush hour train and chose a car that didn't have as many passengers as others.
