Strange that a system that is "no longer used" would be in a coach that is brand new. The 28 to the right of that intercom tells me that coach is new and in my time on these trains there has never been an intercom linking the passengers to the csa. I say push the button......
This is true on the TTC as well. All the new subway cars have intercoms in them, however for some reason the TTC has deactivated them in favour of the yellow emergency strip. I wounder why they prefer the alarm strip over the intercom system?
wait, so a safety feature that the TTC heavily promoted on the toronto rockets when these things were brand spanking new isnt even used? why bother putting them in then? smh.....
