Has the part been manufactured yet?

Hey @GOtransit - any update on the escalator at the Aldershot station that's been busted for four years now? Asking for a friend. #gotrain

I remember @GOtransit telling me two years ago they were waiting on a part for the escalator. Where did they order it from? The future?

Funny. I just had an email exchange early this week and last about this exact issue. The escalator will be decommissioned into stairs. I replied that they currently are stairs....I rec'd a remake, that yes its a humorous situation, thanks for my interest. I gave up at that point. But seriously....just remove the gates and let people walk up the escalator. This could have been done at any time.
