I actually use the UP Express, but I have to agree that some of the decisions they made are baffling. It's almost as if they thought the UP Express would be some sort of tourist destination itself, with the fancy uniforms, interior decorating, and even a gift shop. The poor Mill St. bar/restaurant on the 2nd floor always looks dead, and why shouldn't it be? I love a beer as much as the next guy but do I want to hang out in Union Station to drink it? Hell no! Like 99% of other humans, I want to get in and out of Union as quickly as possible and on to my final destination.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.
