The passsword is "free"
This reminds me of 1997 when the Ontario government let everyone drive the 407 Highway toll-free for six months. When it came time to pay, the herd thinned out considerably.
But generally, this is a good strategy. Make it free, some will do it again and others will go back to the 2-hour trip for $3.25 with nary a complaint on the TTC.
