Apparently the conductor for that train has now been fired. I feel a little bad for the guy losing his job over this. However, an open door on a running train is a pretty big safety hazard so I can see why TTC management felt the need to send a strong message. The train should have been held until the door issue was fixed or that train should have been pulled out of service.

That seems remarkably safe.
Judging by the lack of screams and cries of panic in the background, I would say no one cared.
Maybe the AC was broken so they went to Plan B?
