  1. When I was in Korea years ago, on a crowded train with my (now) wife and her 4 year old niece. We had shopping bags and back packs and we were trying to keep the 4 year old corraled. These two old men on a seat just reached out and took her and put her on their lap. They didn't even look up to acknowledge either of us adults.
    You couldn't do that here.

  2. I will say having recently used both TTC and GoTransit while pregnant that TTC users are much more willing to give up their seat to a pregnant person that go train riders. Even when I was super pregnant it was sometimes a search for a seat if I arrived at my train too late to go home. There were lots of people pretending they don't see you to avoid having to stand.
