But I don't know how to schedule!
For the fastest and easiest way to figure out what train you will need to take when June 27th arrives, visit http://www.gotransit.com/timetables/en/schedules/full_schedules.aspx and choose June 27 as the date you are travelling.
For those who leave Union on the LSE, like me, the ride home offers the following options (x denotes an express train to Pickering and all stops afterwards):
400x
410
430x
440 kind of x (all stops after Eglinton)
500x
515
515x
530x
The mornings aren't all that different. A few trains roll back and some roll forward. I think it's the mornings that may be challenging for some if they take local buses. In my case, I will no longer be able to take the train I am used to since DRT's schedules change as well and not in my favour.

Don't forget potential platform changes too! Yippeeeeee!
The DRT schedules change on June 27th. Welcome to a shit storm of a day.
I lose my bus home at night as they re-routed that one. In the morning, unless I drive, it looks like I won't be catching my normal train, but the all-stops after that. I was looking forward to an express in the morning.
All I know that is there will be trains making all stops which will be packed like sardines. Yuck. I know I may be some of the minority talking, but there's still WAY too many express ones to/from Pickering.
The LSE also has an express from Union at 1800.
I take the 91 bus and they screwed up the placement in the schedule in the morning (i.e. which train the 91 originating at 618 will meet...I was freaked out at how late a train I would connect to until I realized the placement was wrong).
what a pain in da butt. what is the reason for these changes?
Ongoing renovations at Union.
They have royally f-ed up the Lakeshore West schedule and CANCELLED my beloved 8:05 from Port Credit! NO Trains originate from one of the busiest (and growing!) hubs on the GO line now. This is utter b/s.
I absolutely *love* that the trains now leave union at the typical times people get off work. You get off work at 430, guess what you're waiting for the 5...makes absolutely no sense at all...
I agree, Ally! I'm biased because I'm from Rouge Hill but it's very disappointing that this new schedule will take away the only two express trains we had.
Yep, I take it from Rouge Hill too. These new schedules will be to of no benefit to us. I wrote them an email the day I saw the schedules (I also sent CJ a DM about the new schedules if I'm not mistaken), and still haven't heard back.
P.s. I meant that I haven't heard back from GO, not CJ. :)
Anyone GOing to NOTL via the Niagara seasonal train, be advised the online timetable does not interleave Route 11 trips properly. You have to scroll all the way to the right where they’ve been placed after the last train trip of the day. GO Transit is aware of the problem (http://bit.ly/1UgxtoN), but are loath to correct it. Use the PDF version of the timetable instead.
And like Ally, there has been no comment from GO Transit — the proverbial black hole vis-à-vis customer feedback.
I finally heard back from them. This 'lovely' schedule is in effect until September.
While it's nice that it's happening over the summer and they will presumably have 'less' riders due to school being out, vacationers, etc - there's others who still have to commute to/from the downtown core and will not benefit from this new schedule at all.
First world problems.
Can't anyone spell anymore?
^ Yes. But even editors need editors. Of which I do not have. Thank you for your passive aggressive assistance. What would I do without trolls like you?
They changed the 4:30 Hamilton train in the new schedule but must have raised a sh*tstorm of complaints because they issued a separate notice saying that they're leaving it just the way it is come June 27th! You know "We heard your comments and we listened .... etc".
