Maybe the TTC just wants to stay independent of everyone else. They're quite comfortable solely existing inside their own microcosmic bubble, thank you.
Merge all these little fiefdoms into one transportation agency and eliminate all the idiotic managers and their turf wars.
That's money saved that could be used elsewhere. BC is the model to look at for an all-encompassing public transportation model.
The TTC board is a useless entity that does nothing but cost the taxpayers money. It's prone to pet projects, incompetent project management and I suspect an old boy's network.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.
