Is Burlington GO Station an indication of what we can expect when construction begins on the GO expansion into Niagara and eastern Durham Region?

What is this, year 5 of construction I think? No progress in a looong time.
ReplyDeleteI think it's 7.
ReplyDeletePreparatory work, e.g. construction trailers serving as a ticket booth and washrooms started in September 2012. On Dec. 2, the old terminal building and south bus loop were closed for business, and the north bus loop became the new hub of activity. Originally, Bondfield Construction posted on their website a completion date of Dec. 2013 — pure engineering fiction.
ReplyDelete5 long incompetent years. Watched 3 condos and 2 hospitals built in that time. Just a joke.
