Would most offenders really be that compliant---even after having been roughed up? And would the "crusader" guy be immune from prosecution for assault (or whatever else), knowing how over-clinical our laws and courtroom proceedings are? Plus: Would the offender possibly get combatant in response to the strong-arm techniques employed by the "crusader" guy and the whole situation simply escalate from that point on, transforming into a major disturbance?
