Why were they standing? Do they not know how to speak? "Excuse me, please move your papers," and start moving into the seat. I've done it plenty of times.
ReplyDeletemove it or sit on it lol
ReplyDeleteYa I wounder that as well, did anyone actually ask to use the seat? Or did they do that annoying Canadian thing where everyone stands around glaring/muttering passive aggressively but nobody ever actually goes and talks to the person involved.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! You called it. Meanwhile, I'm starting fights...
DeletePeople are afraid to respond and provoke anyone or "kick up any dust" and, thus, "create a scene" because there are so many stupid laws on the books regarding social behavior, harassment, "making threats", "violating the liberties of others" and all that.
ReplyDeleteNo-one wants to potentially put themselves in a position where they might wind up on-the-books as a "culprit" or "predator".
The authorities and others around you are not always very supportive and can leave you "on your own" in tight situations.
