I learnt the hard way to never order in/pick up food. A few years ago I drove from Calgary to Ajax (with a cat) leaving Boxing Day. Made it to Ajax on December 31 and scrambled to find food in my house to feed 3 people. All because we were looking at 4+ hour waits for food.
At 11:30 in the morning on Saturday, I advised my husband we should phone in the order and get on the list. I even told the MIL at 1:30 pm. Both said it won't be a problem - small town...
Learned not to order Chinese on New Year's Eve many years ago. Thought I'd be ahead of the game ordering the day before for an early NYE pickup. Still ended up waiting for two hours for the order in the restaurant.
Happy New Year to all! I started commuting using GO mid-Oct,but just came across this blog.
Funny stuff and so true how some passengers have no concern or courtesy for other fellow commuters. I prefer the Q zone as it tends to have the least annoyances relatively speaking of course...
