I'm sure other agencies would like to get their money back, too

While they're at it, they should find out how many fares they lose when the gates in the subway entrances are left open and people walk through them unchallenged. I've seen this so many times at both the College and Queen's Park stations; on one occasion I brought it to the attention of a TTC employee at College station, only to receive the following response: "Yes...they keep walking through, don't they?" This bright spark couldn't be bothered to close the gate even after he SAW it open!
