Metrolinx/GO Should post weekly online and at the Burlington station the progress , if any.
Last update on GO's site was weeks/months ago.
Poor optics with GO blaming the winter for the glacial progress over the past few months. When at the condo construction site there cement trucks rolling in and out all day. Workers there early until late in the afternoon. Where as if there is a worker present at Burlington GO it's the talk of the train.
As for the roof, it appears no progress since last fall.
The elevators at the south side station appear finished. Metrolink/GO put those into service ASAP.
All can understand that renovating anything may have surprises. But as we close in on the 4 1/2 year anniversary of construction Metrolink/GO Need to do a better job of explaining the many delays and hire the firm that is building the condo beside the station to take 2 or 3 weeks to finish the Burlington GO Station.
This website is not only read by GO Transit passengers, but also by employees of various transit agencies across Canada and the US, members of the media and enjoys an audience from around the world. Please take that into consideration.
