There are workers on-site at Burlington today! For how long, no one knows... probably working hard on getting the water fountain up and running now that two elevators are finished

ya that's everyone waiting for the pedestrian bridge in Ajax to be finished.
ReplyDeleteThe Ajax bridge is supposed to be finish spring 2017 I believe so let's not compare it to Burlington, it's just not fair to the people of Burlington.
ReplyDeleteNo compare Anon, but a statement.
ReplyDeleteThe bridge has been 2 years in the making and will be at least another year before it is completed.
The 2017 completion date is a date that has been moved. From an email dated August 4, 2015 (my bolding):
Ajax GO Passengers: We've started building a new pedestrian bridge over Fairall Street to connect the north and south parking lots, and a new Kiss 'n' Ride at the south entrance to the bridge. Parts of the north, south and Fairall Street lots will close over the coming weeks. More parking is available in the lots off O'Brien Court and Westney Road. Completion is expected in late 2016. We thank you for your patience as we improve your Ajax GO station.
