First time I've seen someone arrested for fare jumping - more to the story for sure

  2. Cuffed, for a fare evasion? There has to be more to the story. Used to be they'd take ID and write the guy a ticket. Cuffed implies something more serious.

  3. I've seen people cuffed when hauled off a train. Mostly because it started as a fare evasion and ended in an altercation.

  4. I agree there must be more to this then fare evasion. It could be anything from refusing to provide ID after being confronted for fare evasion all the way to committing some more serious crime on board the train, or possibly the officers could have run his ID through dispatch while writing him a ticket and found out he had a warrant out for his arrest.
