I would be interested to see how many tickets get written by GO Safety in a year and for which violations. My guess would be that, like most jurisdictions, GO Transit has a quite a few by-laws on the books that never actually get enforced and that the no feet on the seats by-law is one of them.
"Hey, there are plenty of public library branches if you need a place to be loud and obnoxious, and relish disturbing the peace and irritating others around you!"
Lori: Of COURSE it's "our job" to enforce THEIR by-laws. It's an ideal way for those in charge to set up an otherwise innocent person for possible criminal charges of "Harassment" or "Making Threatening Gestures" should they be a bit overzealous with their "enforcement" effort.

I'm sick of footriders..nothing Go does seems to deter them from putting their feet on the seats. They need to be shamed.
That's because while GO has by-laws, apparently it's our job to enforce them.
