It is a shame that they cancelled the Ontario Northland train from Union Station to North Bay. I know the service was losing money, but a lot of that was due to poor management at Ontario Northland. I think there are things that they could have done to make it more viable, but I get the impression that nobody even tried. Instead the government just cancelled it and replaced it with "enhanced" bus service, what ever that means.
