I realize the weather has been colder than normal (but hey! It's Canada!) but it just burns me up that we're paying more and at the same time, the service is less than adequate.
That's what bothers me too Bicky. No substantial improvement in service, yet the fares keep going up. If we could see something tangible for the fare increases that is a different story.
If these type of track switch and general malfunctions only happened in extreme cold weather conditions I could understand it a bit. But they happen in more moderate conditions which is frustrating.
The 3 service guarantee refunds in the last week though. Nice to get free transit and all but I'd rather pay for it an arrive on time.
I so agree with Mark - the looks I get when I walk in late are not worth saving the $6. 5 service refunds last week and I didn't check ALL my rides. I can say that my ride never takes the posted 23 minutes from Dixie to Union. It ALWAYS takes more, and unpredictably more. The 8:10 out of Dixie is a joke. If I want to get to my job (near Royal York hotel) I HAVE to take the 7:45.
