Take a ride on the train that has no PRESTO family rate, no real opening date, except for "Spring" and a whole bunch of other inconsistencies about how much it costs and when it launches

The prices were right there on the screen. $55 for a family. Bargain!

As for the launch date that's obvious: Late ;)

In the video from CTV, Anne Marie Aikens says GO is still working on family rate even though there is a family rate as you pointed out.

And second, there is no family group discount if paying by PRESTO which is what I pointed out in the title.

Here's the CTV video link:

I'm still confused about the whole UPX service.

Firstly, why doesn't it fully integrate with the other GO lines?

Secondly, the Marketing analysis that designated this as a 'Premium' service appears to be flawed. They looked at key airports around the world and compared the prices of their premium rail links. But most of those cities also have cheaper rail link options (i.e. city network extension links). We should have built the cheaper, integrated transit option first and then a premium service - if required - later.

Heathrow and all these other places have 2 train choices. Busy business people with expense accounts use the Express. The rest of us plebes use the regular train. Here in Toronto the plebes still have no new options.

Madness!!

@Anonymous We will have two train choices to get to there: phase II of the Crosstown LRT will stop right at the airport!

...if phase II of the Crosstown ever gets built.

Future two-way all-day service on Kitchener + MiWay bus from Malton GO station = much cheaper option taking ~45 minutes from Union.

No you have an option; you can take forever to get downtown using the TTC express bus and subway or you can pay $50 plus for a limo ride. What you should have said is that we don't have convenient and less expensive options, but after all, we are only plebes.
